By day Michelle Patrick Salons is hub of fashion-forward hair stylists that promise to "spoil your alter-ego," but Friday night, Mattie Michelle transformed her trendy salon into a catwalk of fashion inspiration. The theme was "Global Fashion" and, as a well-traveled woman, co-owner and event coordinator Mattie knows global fashion.
The salon chairs were put up and the mirrors covered to make room for wall displays highlighting street fashion from around the world including Tokyo and Amsterdam.
After the music played for a while and a few guests had arrived, the models came out representing various cities like Dubai, New York, and London. Their hair done by the various stylists of Michelle Patrick Salons.
The event itself was a lot of fun. The guests were stylish, interesting and very open to having their picture taken.
And last but not least was our glamorous hostess, Mattie, who informed me that this was the first of many shows to come. It seems that this hair salon also has an alter-ego.
