[STREET SNAP] Indie Movie Lovers at Mockingbird Station

I went to see Velentino: The Last Emperor with my girlfriend and her BFF at the Angelika Theater, which is the number one indie theater in town. I can rarely afford it so indie films have become a bit of a treat. After the movie, I couldn't help myself from photographing a few interesting people.

I like the juxtaposition of a flowy peasant skirt and a structured Army-like cap on the left. I also really loved the silver scarf & sandals on the right. The lady's daughter, on the other hand, looked embarrassed that her mom was being photographed for a fashion blog. LMAO.

Her boyfriend told me she was worried about her outfit for the night. I really don't understand why. It's perfect for the 100 degree weather we've been having.
