It almost sounds like Calculus. But these are the common denominators for Maiko Takeda's intriguing and architectural designs.

Can shadows obtain a quality of themselves and adorn the body as jewelry? This is the question Takeda asked in her graduation project at Central St. Martin’s.

The collection is called Cinematography - a very fitting name considering that the mask reminds me of capturing a moving picture on still film.

The hat below is not actually part of her Cinematography collection but I still felt the essence of Numbers + Logic + Space. She calls it the Whipped Cream Hat. I call it a must have for walking around the Uptown shopping center on a Sunday. It's made of silk. (^__^)
