I'm a big fan of Hello Kitty - I have notepads, plushies, phone charms, keychains, post-its... And I'm a big fan of earth-friendly activities (I'm trying to get everyone at my office to at the very least reuse and recycle paper). So, of course, I geeked out when I saw that FunkyRecycling on Etsy has Hello Kitty necklaces made from recycled cans of my favorite drinks: Redbull and Dr.Pepper! So adorable and only $5! (*__*) yay...
The detail on these looks increadible. They feature dozens of drinks and shapes - hearts, butterflies, cupcakes and monkeys. I really like this heart below made from the Arizona Tea. It stylish on its own, doesn't even make you think about the drink.
If you're like me and shop EARLY for Christmas presents, these can be the little things that make people smile. Take for instance the ironic Diet Coke cupcake - I'm getting it for my mom, a diabetic who is addicted to Diet Coke. She's either gonna love it or throw one of her purses at me. One of the ones with hardware. Ouch!
But we are in a recession so you might consider a grap bag of mini gifts for your close friends. They'll understand. Trust me. BTW has anyone heard of this drink: Go Girl? Because it makes a really cute necklace. (^__^) lol. That's two presents down for me!
