These Boots Are Made for Walking the Red Carpet Runway

Yay for job interviews and new clients! A quick shout out to Nicole at Style Me B.A.D. for her good luck and positive energy because I am now a marketing assistant. It might sound a little hokey but I believe that encouraging little words like "Good Luck!" really do transmit positive energy that helps people. That's how prayer works...

I'm a little upset because my host LimeDomains.com has been down for three days now and I'm currently hosting four websites on it, including my web & graphic portfolio. I still managed, however, to get a new client for a digital flyer. She's hosting a sexy boot party in February. This is the concept I'm working with as she wanted something upscale, colorful and red carpet.

What do you think? Any suggestions?

She only had two requirements for the boots: fashion & stiletto. Depending on what she says, I'll add a bit more detail - probably something off one of my boot crushes like studs. The weather is pretty cold here in Dallas and it doesn't seem to be getting any warmer. But it's Texas, we don't need a reason to wear boots.

My new client has the right idea, though - there is something about boots that is incredibly sexy, not just for others but in wearing them.

Pics from DiscountWomensDressShoes.com - I've bought 2 pairs of boots from there already. They've been on my outfit pics recently.

  1. OMG!YAY! I am so happy to hear that you got the position. Positive thoughts lead to positive realities :)

I like where you are going with the flyer. I think the dress should be a different color perhaps? So that it can stand out from the red carpet. A bright fun color or funky print?

  2. I'm thinking the same thing about the dress but she wanted the boots to be the main focus. However, I have not heard back from her in 24hrs.

    :-/ Think positive thoughts right?
