Runway Monday with Megan Summerville

Dallas Fashion,Runway MondayLocal model marketing agency Campbell-Wagner Runway held another Runway Monday earlier this month. The featured designer was 2009 Texas' Next Top Designer Megan Summerville, showcasing her Fall lingerie collection.

Her inspiration was the darker side Egyptian mythology, namely death. It seemed well communicated in her use of sheer fabric and dark colors. My favorites were the light lace corset and the patterned corset.

[DAILY OUTFIT] Double Daily Outfits And My New Pink Hair!

I'll admit my style is a little random. The first outfit was taken a few days before I changed my hair. I was feeling a little bohemian and that was a new scarf.

I'm Going to Austin Fashion Week!!

Austin Fashion Week 2010 So I've made plans to attend the Kick Off Party and the first two days of Austin Fashion Week. My job (and lack of hours) won't allow me to stay the whole week but I'm super excited to attend a Fashion Week.

Ok, so it's not New York, but Texas isn't as bad as people make it out to be! Fashion is playing a bigger part in the big cities, i.e. Dallas, Austin, Houston and San Antonio. It just takes people who are willing to put it out there.

So this is my itinerary so far - I'm still working on it - some things still need to be confirmed. I wasn't sure if I was going or even staying till Monday until yesterday when I got the day off. Each event it getting it's own blog post next week but you can catch come coverage on my Facebook and Twitter over the next few days.

[GEEK OUT]
Big Hats & Lady Gaga Costumes Are In!

Lady Gaga Costumes Debut for Halloween

You know you've hit Pop Icon status when people want to dress up like you.
Costume Craze proudly debuted their new officially licensed Lady Gaga costumes on their blog earlier this week. This is going to make for an interesting Halloween, especially in the gay-borhood. The full outfits run $45-57 while single accessories run $7-$17. I'm kinda drawn to the $9 Hair Bow Clip myself. FYI they're now taking pre-orders.

[TOP 10 TUESDAY] Trendy Ways to Wear Your Shorts While It's Still Hot

So has the heat shown any sign of wavering in your neck of the woods? Here in Texas, we can still expect about three more months of heat and humidity - four in some cases. We've been in triple digits (Fahrenheit) this whole week so shorts are still in peak season. Persuing the web, I've noticed a few trends in shorts this past year.

Street Fashion,Fashion Blog,Dallas,Texas

I went to the mall for the first time in a long time. I found her at Hot Topic and we both agreed that more people should wear cool hats.
